So I posted a series of pics of my library a few days ago and since then I have been getting tons of recommendations of others to read. I don't remember them all so I decided to start a blog of authors and books I should look into. If you think of any let me know. I love anything sciencey, and I love sci-fi.fantasy. Iespeciallylike Dystopias. But I think my collection of them is pretty good.

Here's what I remember people recommending so far:

Mervyn Peake

Tom Robbins

One of my absolute favorite authors is Piers Anthony. I'd recommend pretty much anything of his! Although...a personal favorite is the "Incarnations of Immortality" series. Anne McCaffrey's "Rowan" series...

It's fiction...but..."Animal Dreams" by Barbara Kingsolver. I'm sure you've read Robert Jordan. His Wheel of Time Series?

oh...it's fantasy..but my ultimate favorite book of all time is "Catswold Portal." By Shirley Rousseau Murphy.

:)

I remember the old Goosebumps "choose your path" ones. I haven't read any others. But I loved those

So i have been blowing through the Ender's Game series. I read Ender's Game when I was in 9th grade, and loved it. Then read it again a year ago when I was in a sci-fi lit class in college. Then again a few months ago. Since then I have read all but 2 of the 13 novels in the series, and all of the short stories.

If you haven't heard of it, and like Sci-fi, or even just like GREAT books, at least read Ender's Game. I didn't like the second 2 when I was younger, but loved them almost as much as the first now that I have blown through the series

I have a few Dick books. Haven't really gotten as into him as many think I would. I like Michael Chabon more.

I'll check out the others too. I know about McKean. I see his name pop up here and there. Never heard of Roberts. I'll keep an eye out

YesTom Robbins. I second that recommendation. I'm reading Philip K. Dick at the moment, but if you're into sci-fi you'd already be acquainted. Dave McKean 'Cages.' My favourite novel is 'Shantaram' by Gregory David Roberts. But perhaps you've already read these.
