Hey Lovin thanks for the add! and Welcome to the forums!!There are probably countless websites trying to sell you tools and products to help you start and maintain your dreadlocks, but here we won't try to make you a customer but teach you ways to dread naturally. No products or tools needed. All you need is patience! Though a good residue free shampoo wouldn't hurt the only dreading methods I would recommend areNaturalhttp://www.dreadlockssite.com/page/natural-neglect-freeform#axzz0r88SzO5z or twist and riphttp://www.dreadlockssite.com/page/twist-and-rip-method-dreading#axzz0r88SIGNp twist and rip should only be a jump start to natural dreading. They will look like dreads right away but will mature in about the same time as any other method(including natural) as long as you are patient with them and don't mess with them
