You don't really have to use anything. Trying to speed the proces with crochet and other methods only slows it in the end.If you want a way to speed the locking, put a wool sweater or blanket on your pillow to sleep on. I did this and by one month my roots had dreaded pretty nicely

crochet causes the loose hair do nothing nothing nothing just seperate u will have to deal with s extra fuzzy recovery period as all thye broken haires u wrecked come out then find theyre way back in dreads never should take work just time leave em alone

Welcome It's a good thing that you're not using products, but crochet is just as bad if not worse than most products. I hope you would confided stopping if you want healthy long lasting dreads

welcome brother but u really should know crochet is extremely bad for dreadsif u stop now u will recover with damag but the more u do it the more damaged they get andf u need to constasntly fix them
